UA Local 177 represents the highest skilled Plumbers, Steamfitters, Marine Fitters and Metal Tradesmen. Our Local was charted on December 11, 1942. We have jurisdiction through 13 Counties in the State of Georgia. We have protected the health of Georgia for over 80 years.
Our Apprenticeship program is the backbone of Our workforce. During their 5 year apprenticeship program members learn all the skills they will need to start their career. As technology changes our Journeymen continue to come back to Our training center to expand their skills.
Our Signatory Contractors employ the members of UA Local 177. They work on residential, commercial and industrial projects through Georgia.
