Headquartered in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, a suburb of Nashville, Southern Benefit offers administration services to union benefit plans throughout the country. Formed in 1981, they work solely with union-sponsored fringe benefit plans. While much of their client service is provided from their corporate headquarters, they maintain branch offices in Chattanooga, New Orleans, Norfolk and Richmond.

They have intentionally chosen to limit their client base to union benefit plans. Because of the unique nature of their clients, there is no practical way for them to actively market their services. Therefore, all of their opportunities for new business usually come to them by personal referral.
